Craps
Craps (before known as crabs) is a casino gambling game by dice. Players bet money against the casino on the result of one roll, or of a series of rolls of two dice.
Craps can also be played in less official settings and is said to be well-liked among soldiers. In such situations side bets are less recurrent, with one or more than a few participants covering or "fading" bets next to the dice.
The basic game
The basic game of craps is extremely simple. The most basic bet is the "pass
line" wager, which almost everybody on a given game may make. On the first
roll of the two dice (the come-out roll), the go by line bettors, or "right"
